Your Child’s First Visit: Sharing Their Health History
Our pediatric appointments are handled similarly to our adult appointments. Having your child wear comfortable clothing is the first step. Arriving early for your appointment is always a good idea as well.
During their first appointment, we’ll ask for a detailed pediatric history and thoroughly examine your child. It’s rare to perform an X-ray on a pediatric patient, so there will likely be enough time to give your child their first adjustment on that visit as well.
Your Child’s Second Visit: A Comprehensive Treatment Plan
During their second visit, we will meet with your child and parent(s) to review a plan for their care and then move forward with treatment.
Don’t worry about how your child will react during their appointment. We have created a supportive and child-friendly environment, providing clear explanations and reassuring pediatric patients to feel relaxed and comfortable during their visits.
Once a child has been to our office a couple of times, they are usually excited to see our friendly team and get adjusted.
